This week with Conversations Book Club---- 05/28-06/01/07

Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day. I wanted to make sure that you were prepared for our two guests this week--- as they will definitely be authors you want to enjoy very soon.

On Tuesday, May 29, 2007 we will be talking with Bestselling author Anna J, the writer behind HER WOMAN, HIS WIFE and THE AFTERMATH.

Anna J. also penned a short story for the erotic anthology FETISH. (We will be giving away a free copy of FETISH during the discussion). Join us as we discuss her life, career and the ideas behind her storylines.

On Friday, June 1, 2007, we will be kicking off the new month with a CONVERSATIONS FIRST: a jailhouse interview with bestselling author Damon "Amin" Meadows.

That's right: Meadows will be speaking with us for 15 minutes about his controversial book CONVICT'S CANDY, which details the life of a pre-op transexual that is housed in an all-male facility. Based on actual events, you will want to listen as he discusses what led to the book---and the issues it addresses. Immediately following the interview, we will be talking with HICKSON (seen below), the publisher of CONVICT'S CANDY and the owner of GHETTOHEAT.

This is one week of interviews you DON'T want to miss!

Is there someone you didn't get a chance to listen to during the discussions? Then make sure to visit http://www.thebestbookclub.info and http://www.readingmylips.com often to READ the interviews with the authors we have spotlighted.

Bestselling author Thomas Long's visit to Mississippi to be rescheduled

It is with great disappointment that Conversations Book Club will have to schedule the discussion scheduled for Friday,May 25, 2007 with Thomas Long, however, we will still have the discussion at 6p.m. (Medgar Evers Library) about his work, and the book we all have been talking about: A THUG'S LIFE.

We were eagerly looking forward to his visit, however, due to situations with the book club we are unable to accommodate Long at this time.

Don't worry: We will be working with the author to reschedule. It is always so much more enjoyable to have the author in person with us during the discussions, however, sometime it is just not possible.

Keep watching http://www.thebestbookclub.info for all the latest news.

BREAKING: International Bestselling author Andrew Neiderman links to Conversations Book Club

Okay, this is really doing a mind job on us: In searching websites today we discovered that International Bestselling author Andrew Neiderman (the man behind Devil's Advocate and the ghostwriter of the V. C. Andrews books) has linked to us on the main page of his website. WHAT AN HONOR. You can visit his website here.

You might remember that Conversations Magazine snagged an exclusive interview with Neiderman last year, followed by another this year along with a telephone conversation with the Conversations Book Club.

We appreciate the support of Neiderman and so many dedicated authors like him that are making it easy to get hooked on books.
