[BOOK REVIEW] Love and Laughter in Ransom Canyon by Mary Lou Cheatham and Christie Marie Underwood

by Cyrus Webb

Life has a way of throwing us curve balls. We have the ability to either give up or keep giving it another try. That is the theme that runs throughout this entertaining book.

LOVE AND LAUGHTER IN RANSOM CANYON by Mary Lou Cheatham and Christie Marie Underwood takes us into the life of  Olivia Finley. She is someone who is trying to navigate life after loss and raise her daughters in their new normal. Along the way she is picking up the pieces and gets another chance at love---even if it's not something she thinks she can handle or may be ready for.

Along the way we see the antics of other characters around her like her mom Gloria who gets into her own levels of uncertainty---and thankfully Olivia has a friend like Carla who is ready to help Olivia get out there and live again.

The book shows that no matter who we are we can find ourselves in situations that give us adventures and opportunities we didn't think were possible.

This is the kind of book that will have you smiling, laughing and thinking about what you would do if you were presented with another chance at what you thought was loss.

LOVE AND LAUGHTER IN RANSOM CANYON gives you hope that no matter how dark things might seem there is a light at the end of the tunnel if you choose to go towards it.
